Design of piston rod with protective structure
The telescopic protective cover of the piston rod is the traditional protection form of CNC machine tools and is widely used in the machinery industry. Its main components include the housing (usually made of corrosion-resistant and high-temperature-resistant steel plates), spring shaft, driven shaft, scraper tongue, and nylon fiber cloth, etc. This protective cover can not only effectively protect against iron filings and other sharp objects but also protect against impurities such as dust, oil, and water. Its design enables it to withstand impacts and high temperatures of +900°C caused by hot debris, ensuring the safe operation of the machine tool.
To prevent injury caused by the wrong passage of the upper limbs, the opening width, diameter, side length of the square hole or the short axis size of the oval hole of the telescopic protective cover of the piston rod should be less than 47mm, and the safety distance should not be less than 460mm. This design takes into account the needs of ergonomics and safety protection. By setting a corrugated sleeve on the surface of the piston rod body, during the telescopic process of the piston rod body, the corrugated sleeve expands and closes, so that the entire piston rod body does not come into contact with the outside air, effectively reducing the accumulation of dust on the surface of the piston rod body, thereby effectively protecting the piston rod body.
The piston rod with a protective structure includes components such as the piston rod body, threaded connection head, fixed ring, protective sleeve ring, positioning ring, and corrugated sleeve. This design not only reduces the accumulation of dust but also improves the service life and protection effect of the piston rod. Another design of a hydraulic cylinder with a protective structure includes the cylinder body, piston rod, and lubrication box. By setting the adjustment plate, L-shaped rod, scraper ring, and adjustment components, it can effectively make the adjustment components drive the L-shaped rod to move the scraper ring inward, solving the problem that although it can prevent dust for the hydraulic cylinder, it does not have a cleaning function.
